Israeli women protest gender segregation on public transport

Hundreds of women in the ultra-Orthodox Jewish suburb of Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv, protested against gender-based segregation, particularly on public transport. Media reports have highlighted incidents in which bus drivers have refused to allow women to board or have forced them to sit at the back. The protestors held placards reading "We are equal" and chanted slogans advocating for democracy and equality.
