After 26 years in an Ontario lake, this message in a bottle has been reunited with its writer

Makenzie Van Eyk holds the message in a bottle she threw into Lake St. Clair 26 years ago. She's sitting with her teacher from that time and her two kids. They're in the area where she sent the plastic bottle into the water and where it was found.

Imagine finding out the elementary school project you completed — and purposely launched into a lake — was found by a student at the same school your daughter now attends, 26 years later.
